Green Energy Technical Services Group is led by a team of professionals who have been providing leadership throughout the wind industry since 1985. Through the combined expertise throughout the life cycle of your renewable energy project, our integrated approach is designed to add value at every step of our engagement. We have one focus, which is to provide quality services through a transparent cost structure, that seamlessly executes your project goals.

GETSG management maintains close working relationships with many of the industry pioneers in wind energy engineering, and O&M. Maintenance, repair and/or BOP, we have the skill set necessary to ensure your project runs to its true potential.

Executive Management

Dave Schulgen, President

David Schulgen is Chief Executive Officer of Green Energy Maintenance Corp founded in 2006 and has been involved in nearly all areas of wind energy since 1985. In addition to successfully leading our O&M company, Dave’s business execution and vision with Airstreams Renewables, Inc. led to an industry leading training program helping transitioning veterans into career in the wind, solar, telecommunication tower and a variety of industrial industries.

  • Director of Field Operations for Commercial Americas with Enron and GE Wind responsible for the Operations and Maintenance for approximately 1500 megawatts of wind projects.
  • Director of Manufacturing responsible for the manufacturing of Enron Wind Commercial Americas 1.5 megawatt turbines. (Now GE Wind)
  • Regional Manager of Operations responsible for the operations of more than 450 MW of wind power in the states of California, Texas and Vermont managing a staff of 80 personnel.
  • Manager of Commissioning responsible for the commissioning of over 800 megawatt of wind power projects.
  • Manager of Training Enron Wind responsible for the creation of the Enron Wind Skill Based Certification program. (Now GE Wind Certification Training program used globally)
  • Manager of Electrical Manufacturing responsible for the electrical manufacturing of all Zond 750 turbines.
  • Sky River Site Supervisor, 77 megawatts V27 turbines
  • USMC Electrician.

Jeff Duff, Vice President/CFO

Jeff is the Chief Financial Officer of Green Technical services group. Jeff began his career in the wind industry in 2000, where he helped shape wind turbine system performance analysis, asset management for the GE 1.5MW fleet. Jeff's entrepreneurial leadership and corporate governance where also key in launching their sister company Airstreams Renewables, Inc.

  • System Performance Manager with GE Wind responsible for monthly technical reviews, RCA support and analysis, operations and service reporting, customer relations for over 1700 MW of wind turbines.
  • Technical Analyst with Zond/Enron Wind responsible for wind and turbine analysis, engineering support for a growing fleet of hundreds of owned and operated turbines throughout the world.
  • System performance manager for Enron Wind/GE Wind responsible for fleet technical reporting to the commercial Asset Management group with over 2000 MW’s of turbines. Jeff has an MS in Mathematics (with a specialization in teaching) and BA in Mathematics and Economics (International Trade).

Key Operations Staff

John A. Nemila, Operations Manager

Provides oversight on all project and O&M contract work including technical support for our projects with expertise in CAISO interconnect and responsible for ensuring technical and safety training, with over 37 years in the industry John is an early pioneer starting his career at Zond. He has been responsible for O&M on thousands of turbines and managed several thousand megawatts worth of projects over his career.

Robert Gibson, Field Operations Manager

Provides field management personnel and technical support all project and O&M contract work. With over 16 years, Robert brings experience in large corrective work on multiple platforms and has led crews in construction and O&M.

David Grant, Technical Management and Data Services Manager

  • 30+ years in Renewable Energy
  • Designed, built and managed Remote Operating Centers including;
    • The original NextEra’s FPDC, Juno Beach, Florida
    • BP Alternative Energy, Houston, Texas.
    • Apex Clean Energy, Charlottesville, North Carolina
  • Developed and implemented various project performance monitoring and management systems
  • Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) specialist
  • Worked on over 70 distinct wind projects
  • Veteran of the United States Marine Corps
